Еще, казалось бы, так недавно, а именно в мае прошлого года, театрально-ролевой клуб «Хрустальный замок» устроил первый тульский бал в стиле XIX века. Было то в Доме культуры на Косой Горе, народу собралось не так чтобы очень много – получилось не городское мероприятие, а эдакий междусобойчик для истинно увлеченных и их друзей. Но за полтора года клуб, похоже, набрал силу. Достаточную, чтобы организовать самый настоящий общегородской зимний бал. Хотя он намечен на 15 декабря и времени еще уйма, подготовка уже идет полным ходом.

Ах, какие волнующие это слова − «городской зимний бал»! Мерещатся лихие тройки в снежном блеске, кавалеры в мундирах, скидывающие в парадном пахучие от мороза шубы, дамы, плывущие в кринолинах по жарко натопленным залам…Примерно так все и будет. Будет и зал − фойе областной филармонии (бывшего Дворянского клуба), будут дамы с кавалерами − не только туляки, но и гости из Москвы, Орла, Ярославля.

Но вот вопрос − не танцующим зрителям что же, придется весь вечер просидеть в уголке?

− Мы организуем все так, что каждому найдется занятие, – поясняет одна из увлеченных и «по совместительству» наша коллега с «Радио России-Тула» Виктория Протопопова. – Здесь будет и угощение, и старинные салонные игры, и выступление артистов. Кстати, инициатором бала выступила именно областная филармония. К своему юбилею они что-то интерактивное, молодежное захотели сделать, ну и вышли на «Хрустальный замок».

Зрители могут ограничиться современным вечерним одеянием, а вот намеренным танцевать нужен соответствующий наряд. И еще, конечно, знание самих танцев. Этому «ХЗ-эшники» обучают на бесплатных мастер-классах. Они проходят в 18.30 по вторникам (старшая группа) и четвергам (начинающие) в Центре детского творчества Привокзального района (улица 9 Мая, 7а), а кроме того – в 17.00 по субботам в молодежном центре «Радуга» (Одоевское шоссе, 25). Как говорят ребята, за время, оставшееся до бала, вполне реально освоить несложные контрдансы, марши, полонезы. Такие известные танцы, как кадриль или мазурка, – это уже следующий этап.

– Руку положите чуть ниже плеча партнера… Двигайтесь более плавно. В вальсе мы скользим, а не прыгаем.

Парни нерешительно подходят к девчонкам. Пары делают первые неуверенные шаги…

В это самое время в соседнем зале, где тренируется старшая группа, царит веселый гвалт.

– Давайте наконец станцуем лендлер… А кто-нибудь «мистера Бевериджа» помнит?.. Теперь дважды до-за-до, теперь па де буре…

Неспешные движения по кругу, синхронная смена партнеров, руки, на миг застывшие в изящном взмахе, чеканные шаги, плавные скольжения. И нет коротких юбок и рубашек современного покроя, нет кабинетов с потертым линолеумом. И мерещатся лихие тройки в снежном блеске, кавалеры в мундирах, скидывающие в парадном пахучие от мороза шубы, дамы, плывущие в кринолинах по паркету зала.
